What's in a name?

Greetings in the Shem (name) of YaHuWaH Yahushua mashiach, the son of the Most High who the prophets testified of his coming. First and foremost, I come in the spirit of brotherhood and compassion. My aim is NOT to rub anyone's nose in dung showing  errors or to engage in heated, drawn-out exchanges, but my aim is to share the portion of knowledge in love to all men.

What's in a name? In Christianity everything stems on the name of the messiah. The pastor will get up and preach sermons that there IS a NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES and will stand resolute in the defense of the name. He testifies that the name of the messiah holds power and how we must worship in spirit and in TRUTH. But as soon as we tell him or her that the name cannot be jesus because there's no hebrew name jesus nor was or is a letter J in Hebrew, he then says "well it doesn't really matter." Did you know that in the ancient texts such as the masoretic and dead sea scrolls the name of the father appeared some 6800 TIMES and was replaced with LORD and THE LORD?

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) the prophet spoke of scribes and their "false pen" on how the truth would be bent to defame the Most High of his character and esteem.
Jer 8:8  “How do you say, ‘We are wise, and the Torah of יהוה is with us’? But look, the false pen of the scribe has worked falsehood. 

The act of removing the four paleo hebrew letters Yod Hey Wah Hey or YHWH 6800 plus times is no minor offense. The Most High told us in the 10 commandments that we shall not take his name in vain which really means "to not bring his name to naught," meaning to marginalize it. When we say that God knows our hearts and jesus is acceptable really TWISTS many verses that there's only ONE NAME under heaven.

Php 2:9  Elohim, therefore, has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, 
Php 2:10  that at the Name of יהושע every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 
Php 2:11  and every tongue should confess that יהושע Messiah is Master, to the esteem of Elohim the Father.
Act 4:12  “And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.”
Act 10:43  “To this One all the prophets bear witness, that through His Name, everyone believing in Him does receive forgiveness of sins.” 

Pro 30:4  Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, And what is His Son’s Name, If you know it?
Isa 52:5  “And now, what have I here,” declares יהוה, “that My people are taken away for naught? Those who rule over them make them wail,” declares יהוה, “and My Name is despised all day continually. 

Isa 52:6  “Therefore My people shall know My Name, in that day, for I am the One who is speaking. See, it is I.” 

When we say that jesus is just an english translation then why do we say HalleluYAH instead of hallelujah (with a J.) We must understand that making exception or trivializing his name because of comfort level doesn't make it acceptable. I've walked the same path as well,  for I was in the name jesus for the first 33 years of my life, so its not a matter of rejecting messiah to come into the knowledge of his name, but rather it's coming into the fullness of walking in the character of his name for it reveals YaHuWaH is Salvation (Yahushua.)

When we read the parable of the ten virgins, of those ten, five possessed the OIL and were ready for the marriage supper. Lets look in the Song of Solomon and see a definition regarding the oil.


Son 1:3  For fragrance your oils are good. Your name is oil poured forth, Therefore the maidens love you.

In the above verse we have the oil and the maidens (virgins) and it his NAME that is like OIL. The Hebrew word SHEMEN is used for oil and the HEBREW word SHEM means NAME! Yes brothers and sisters lets do the math and come into the fullness of his set apart name.

Once again my aim is not the shame or flap my wings in the self serving plummege of men's knowledge, it is my desire to share so that we will avoid the snares and deceptions. I leave you with a sobering verse on why men are judged. This verse is part of a great promise of believing in the Mashiach so that we may be delivered. And let me say that no one will see the shamayim (heaven) unless they go through the door and the blood of the mashiach.

Joh 3:16  “For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only brought-forth Son, so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but possess everlasting life. 
Joh 3:17  “For Elohim did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 
Joh 3:18  “He who believes in Him is not judged, but he who does not believe is judged already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only brought-forth Son of Elohim.

Much Love in Yahushua Ha'Mashiach, The One who WAS, IS and IS TO COME
